Meet Miguel

Miguel has been with Teamwell for only three months and has already shown a great deal of dedication to his work and the company. He is currently working as a Cook for one of our largest clients in our NY location and they are always raving about him. In their own words, “He is amazing! Extremely knowledgeable, respectful, professional, a true catch.” He’s a great representation of Teamwell’s core values and we are extremely lucky to have him on our team.

Get to know Miguel 

Who inspires you? 

Chef José Andrés has inspired me to achieve success in the restaurant business in order to carry out philanthropic work. He is providing massive relief to Puerto Rico after the hurricane despite his fame and fortune, I have immense respect for his selflessness.  

 

What are you passionate about?

My passion revolves around food, more specifically developing the fast food concept I will one day launch. I want to provide healthy food through a business that cares about its community and takes care of its employees. 

 

What is the best meal you’ve ever had?

I was brought to tears in Paris dining at Passage 53. It was also the most expensive meal I’ve ever had although I would 100% repeat the experience. Life changing. 

 

What are some of your pet peeves?

When cooks rip the labeling tape instead of cutting it. It’s all in the details!

 

Who is your least favorite superhero?

Superman. Nobody knows who he really is even though his only change of appearance other than his suit is his absence of glasses. Come on!
